Dr. Annie Gong completed her Medical Degree in 2019 and her Family Medicine Residency training in 2021 at the University of Manitoba Max Rady College of Medicine. She trained at Boundary Trails Health Centre providing exemplary rural care to clinics, emergency and acute inpatients.
Dr. Gong has a diverse family practice that provides pediatric, adult, and geriatric care. She has a special interest in women’s health, which includes prenatal and postnatal care, contraceptive counseling, intrauterine device (IUD) insertions, contraceptive implant (Nexplanon) insertions, and menopause. She also has an interest in dermatology, which includes care for acne and plantar warts. Additionally, she works in hospitals providing acute inpatient care and chronic disease management. Outside of medicine, she enjoys playing the piano, baking cookies, and making sourdough bread.
Yu Jing Qiu PT, R. AC is a registered physiotherapist in Canada and a registered acupuncturist in Manitoba and BC.
She graduated from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 1982. She has had 5 years of training in China and 7
years of work experience at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine's Dongzhimen Hospital. In 1989, she came to Canada and worked
as a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner at the Massotherapy Clinic. In Winnipeg Manitoba, She has practiced Chinese medicine
(acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and Chinese massage) for 40 years. She runs Hua Xia Acupuncture, Massage, Herb College,
teaching diploma courses on acupuncture, herbs, and massage therapy. She has also received physiotherapy training at
the University of Manitoba's School of Rehabilitation.
Currently, she is working at the Bei Jing
Acupuncture Clinic, the Hua Xia Acupuncture, Massage and Herb College and Physiotherapy Pain Clinic at Unit A-2810 Pembina Hwy.
Treatments include acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and physiotherapy. She treats a variety of issues including respiratory diseases,
musculoskeletal diseases, and neurological problems.
Pinzhen Zhu. R.AC. RN, an acupuncturist in Manitoba. She graduated from Hua Xia Acupuncture, Massage, and Herb college in 2023, and she is very proud to be a member of Manitoba Professional Association of Acupuncture. Pinzhen has bright knowledge and working experience in the health care areas. She has been working as a registered nurse for over 16 years and she graduated from the nursing faculty in the University of Manitoba in 2007. Pinzhen graduated from the medical college of Henan university in China in 1983, and worked as a medical Doctor for 15 years in Zhengzhou China. Pinzhen has been long interested in adult learning, and education. She values and makes efforts to support individuals' quality of life as possible during her career
Mr. Firoz Ahmedmamin, R.P.T., is a physiotherapist registered in Manitoba, working at Bei Jing Physiotherapy Pain Clinic. His services include pain management, joint replacement rehabilitation, athletic injuries, manipulation, exercise program, back and neck pain, stroke rehabilitation, and other focuses and techniques to achieve patient wellness.
Mr Firoz graduated from the Bangladesh Health Professions Institute. He also has achieved a master's degree in Clinical Neuroscience from the University of Roehampton, London, U.K. He was a faculty member of the Bangladesh Health Professions Institute and taught students of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and rehabilitation science. Firoz also works as a teacher at Hua Xia Acupuncture, Massage, and Herb College.
